A long awaited homecoming

We are in Ghana and the day before my brother goes back to the Netherlands, I ask to capture his last moments with his mother. The last time they saw each other was 26 years ago. The collage above reflects the timelessness in their connection despite the many years apart.

My brother also wanted a picture with his two mothers. Our mother on the left (his biological aunt) and his mother on the right (my aunt).
The collage above captures the Ghanaian culture of siblings sharing children, a kind of oneness in family bonds.
